Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager - AP to lead the AP function within our Commercial Finance team, supporting FMCG clients or business units. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting financial reporting and controls related to payables.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for FMCG clients/business units.

Ensure timely processing, verification, and payment of invoices.

Maintain accurate records of all payables transactions.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with procurement, commercial, and operations teams to ensure smooth AP workflow.

Lead and mentor AP team members.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Support month-end closing activities related to payables.

Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Generate reports and provide insights on AP performance and KPIs.

Other ad hoc task/project as required for job

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting or equivalent; ACCA , CA, CPA, CIMA, CGMA, CFA qualification is an advantage.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients).

Must be willing to work in Kempas Lama, Johor Bahru
