We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager / Accountant to join our finance team based in Kempas, Johor. In this role, you’ll take ownership of our full financial reporting cycle, oversee compliance activities, and play a key role in driving process improvements. You will also work closely with management to support business growth through sound financial insights and controls.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports, budgets, cost analysis, and forecasts.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including tax, treasury, and general ledger.
  • Monitor business profit performance and implement effective cost control measures.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Review and verify staff claims, payments, and company transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor loan drawdowns, repayments, and interest calculations.
  • Liaise with bankers on all financial, credit, and facility-related matters.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports such as SST/GST and annual reports.
  • Identify areas for financial process improvement and recommend practical enhancements.
  • Perform any additional finance-related duties as assigned by the CFO or Managing Director.

The candidate should possess:

  • A recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA Level One or above).
  • At least 10 years of solid experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead a small team.
  • The ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.
