We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Center Account Manager to drive our expansion in the vibrant Malaysian market. Based in Kuala Lumpur or Johor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of datacentre infrastructure.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for promoting and selling CommScope's cutting-edge passive network infrastructure solutions to datacentre clients across Malaysia. Your mission will be to:

  • Cultivate and expand client relationships: Build strong, lasting partnerships with key decision-makers in the datacentre ecosystem.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities: Proactively seek out and develop new avenues for growth.
  • Understand and address client needs: Analyze client business, technology, and product requirements to provide tailored solutions.
  • Drive revenue and achieve sales targets: Manage the sales pipeline, forecast demand, and close deals effectively.
  • Lead strategic account and project planning: Develop and execute comprehensive plans to ensure project success.
  • Become a subject matter expert: Stay abreast of the latest datacentre trends and technologies to provide expert guidance.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
  • Proven track record: 10+ years of experience in building and maintaining relationships within the datacentre market, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • "Hunter" mentality: A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on direct engagement with end-users (datacentres).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: Ability to forge strong partnerships with consultants, integrators, installers, and general contractors.
  • Strategic ownership: Serve as the primary driver of commercial strategy for key datacentre accounts in Malaysia.
  • Deep industry knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of datacentre demand drivers, buying cycles, and emerging technologies.
  • Influence and leadership: Ability to motivate, influence, and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Superior organizational skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
