Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our finance team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for managing a full spectrum of accounting functions, including
financial reporting, account reconciliation, budgeting, and cash flow management. This role is crucial in
ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting, while providing valuable financial insights and
analysis to support business decisions.

The Account Manager will also liaise with external auditors, project teams, and clients on financial
matters, and assist in tax-related activities when required. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added
advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and intercompany
stakeholders.

Job Descriptions:

Responsible for the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and providing support in financial analysis for major expenses, management accounts, and annual budget preparation(e.g. expense breakdowns).

Manage the full set of accounts and oversee all financial reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly account closings.

Prepare and maintain reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, bank statements, and monthly schedules (e.g. fixed asset registers, prepayment schedules, accrual listings, etc.)

Ensure timely issuance of Invoices, Debit Notes, and Credit Notes, and update relevant

Manage and oversee the company’s e-Invoicing processes in compliance with regulatory

Reconcile vendor Statements of Account (SOA) and intercompany balances to ensure accuracy

Process journal entries for month-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Oversee and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of Accounts Payable (AP) month-end closing

Conduct performance variance analysis and cost analysis to support business decision-making.

Manage company cash flow by monitoring bank balances, cash utilization, and payment

Ensure all accounting documentation and processes — including Requisition Forms, Purchase

Liaise with external auditors on financial matters, addressing queries and ensuring audit

Liaise with Project Contract Executives/Managers on the issuance of progress claims/invoices to

Support superior(s) in tax-related matters, including tax computations, submissions, and relevant

Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time

Requirements:

At least a Diploma or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably

with experience handling a full set of accounts.

Solid knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and financial reporting practices.

Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets.

Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in Xero software is advantageous
