Account Manager

Job Description

• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to senior management.
• Manage and participate in the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, posting, balancing, and reconciling subsidiary ledgers related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall profitability within the manufacturing process.
• Participate in strategic decision-making and provide financial recommendations to the leadership team.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably within the management accounting industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficient in using SQL accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
