Key Account Manager - Your future position?

As the Key Account Manager, you will play the role of a sales/business professional trained in assigned account management. You will be based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor while reporting to the Sales Manager.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Grow Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines.
  2. Assist in tracking ADP (Account Development Plan) to ensure sales activity is on schedule and meets success criteria.
  3. Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts.
  4. Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information.
  5. Assist in transitioning customer projects/new wins from scale-up to production.
  6. Assist with negotiating pricing agreements within guidelines and managing credit, pricing, rebates, etc. for key accounts.
  7. Assist in developing and delivering internal and customer presentations.

Requirements:

  1. University degree; science background will be a plus.
  2. 5-6 years functional/technical sales experience in food ingredients or pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
  3. Understands key elements of ADP.
  4. Ability to develop basic ADPs for key customers.
  5. Effectively uses KPIs to monitor performance.
  6. Can identify and articulate value drivers for key customers.
  7. Possesses ability to generate new business, with assistance of experienced account professional.
  8. Basic understanding of customer strategy, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes.
  9. Basic understanding of competitor activities with key customers.
  10. Written and verbal command of English.
  11. Proficiency in common PC Applications.
  12. Strong communication and negotiation skills, emphasizing teamwork, innovation, and execution.
  13. Mature, independent, and proactive approach with strong project management skills.
  14. Agile in a high matrix organization.
