Job summary

A leading company is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in accounting and finance management, a strong technical background, and leadership skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance management.

Job description

- Lead and manage the company's financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with MFRS, tax regulations, and E-Invoicing requirements.

- Prepare and consolidate group accounts, analyze intercompany transactions, and review project-level revenue and cost performance.

- Conduct tax planning and estimation (CP204/CP204A), minimizing risks and ensuring timely submissions in line with the company's cash flow and operations.

- Assist the Director in conducting risk assessments and implementing effective compliance and risk mitigation strategies.

- Foster effective communication across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data exchange.

- Collaborate with various stakeholders on cash flow forecasts, budget planning, and financial performance analysis.

- Ensure all responsibilities are aligned with the company's financial management standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Full set of accounting qualifications.

- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA are highly preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance management.

- Strong technical knowledge of Excel, compliance listing, tax, and financial reporting standards.

- Previous experience in a firm or a publicly listed company is a strong advantage.

- Leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more direct reports.

- Ability to start immediately is a plus.
