About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Suria Jerai Electrical Sdn Bhd. This full-time role is based in Gurun Kedah and will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting and budgeting processes.

What you'll be doing:

1. Manage the overall financial accounting and reporting for the management.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as cash management & e-invoicing.
5. Collaborate with departmental heads (sales, operation, finance) for accurate forecasting.
6. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Partner with the leadership team to support the group's growth and expansion plans.
8. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
9. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
10. Strong knowledge in tax planning.
11. Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a management accounting or budgeting role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
• Proficient in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
