A reputable firm in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an Account Manager to manage full sets of accounts while performing reconciliations and liaising with auditors. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in accounting software. A team player with sharp attention to detail will thrive in this role.
Manage full sets of accounts: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on overdue receivables
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary on audit and tax matters
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of supporting documents.
Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm or small-to-medium-sized organisation
Proficient in accounting software. Knowledge and experience in using ABSS / MYOB Accounting Software is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
