Job description

Account Finance cum Inventory Management

Prepare, maintain, and update full sets of accounts, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL).

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for review.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely reconciliation of all financial transactions.

Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business planning.

Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Ensure proper allocation of revenue and expenses, and maintain financial accuracy.

Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

Assist in preparing and submitting statutory reports, including SST, corporate tax, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS contributions.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to facilitate audits and tax filings.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to regulatory authorities.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Manage invoicing, billing, and collection of payments from customers and clients.

Handle supplier and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Reconcile AR and AP ledgers and follow up on outstanding payments.

Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and contracts.

Payroll & Expense Management

Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, and deductions.

Maintain proper records of employee reimbursements, claims, and allowances.

Monitor and control operational expenses to optimize financial efficiency.

Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and statutory payments.

Financial Analysis & Cost Control

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve financial efficiency.

Coordinate with Center Operation cum Business Manager and Medical Team, assist in pricing strategies and profitability analysis for wellness center services.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.

Administrative & Ad Hoc Duties

Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and reference purposes.

Assist in administrative functions related to financial operations and business support.

Provide support for procurement processes and vendor negotiations.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the wellness center’s financial operations.
