Responsibilities
- Active daily customer visits to expand product portfolio offering for growth.
- Developing and driving the marketing and sales growth plan for the customers.
- Generating leads: Plan selling activities for the assigned territories, identify potential clients through research, networking, and various prospecting methods like cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Building and maintaining client relationships: Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients by understanding their needs, providing excellent customer service, and keeping them informed of updates and promotions.
- Meeting sales targets: Work to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets by closing deals and generating revenue and optimal gross profits for the company in every business segment: cancer diagnostic, clinical diagnostic, infectious disease, histopathology and molecular diagnostic.
- Presenting and demonstrating products or services: Effectively present and demonstrate the value proposition of the offered products or services to clients during sales pitches, trade shows, or other opportunities.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements: Discuss contractual terms with clients, negotiate deals, and finalize agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and the subsequent satisfactory fulfilment of client orders.
- Collaborating with internal teams: Coordinate with the marketing, product development, applications, technical service, administration support and finance departments to ensure full client satisfaction and convey customer feedback for improvements.
- Reporting and sales tracking: Use Salesforce (CRM software) to keep detailed records of selling activities, maintain an updated customer database, and report on sales performance to management in timely fashion.
- Staying up to date with industry trends: Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed of industry developments, competitors’ activities and products’ information to remain competitive and effective in addressing customers and their needs.
- Any other duties assigned by Senior Management team.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Medical Technology/ Life Sciences/ Food Technology
- At least 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in sales for life science consumables and general equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence customers at all levels
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Professional, self-motivated, focused and creative thinking
