Job summary

A leading company in aviation ground support equipment is seeking an Accounting professional to manage Record to Report services within a regional support setup. The ideal candidate must possess solid qualifications in Accountancy or Finance, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and adapt to a dynamic digital work environment, while being fluent in English and Malay.

Job description

The position will provide hands-on Record to Report services, support, and supervision to team members to achieve its goal as a regional support setup.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who is passionate about a digital work environment and enjoys working with international contacts.

Where You’ll Create the Most Impact

You will support our business by being responsible for:

  1. Performing general accounting activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accounting records.
  2. Managing activities across fixed assets, intercompany transactions, journal entries, etc., ensuring all month-end activities are completed in accordance with company SLA and SOP.
  3. Maintaining an up-to-date fixed assets register for business units, ensuring accurate calculation and recording of depreciation.
  4. Performing intercompany reconciliations and facilitating monthly confirmations.
  5. Managing the preparation of monthly management reports, including account analysis, journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end processes.
  6. Preparing and analyzing Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and Income Statements or P&L, providing insights on financial performance to support decision-making.
  7. Assisting stakeholders, the local finance team, and business partners with technical queries related to RTR processes.
  8. Maintaining accountability for all internal controls related to RTR activities.
The Ideal Candidate

Possesses a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or higher degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.

Is computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is an advantage.

Has strong interpersonal skills, takes initiative, and is flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.

Can speak, read, and write in English and Malay.

Prior experience in the shared service industry is a plus.
