ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that financial data are presented for posting and updating of accounting books and records on time and preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts for audit and other relevant areas.
  • Updating and maintaining of Fixed Assets schedules and other supporting schedules.
  • To prepare trial balance, profit & loss account and balance sheet.
  • Prepare annual cost projection report.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports.
  • To check casting of incoming invoices.
  • To monitor vetting and authorisation of incoming invoices.
  • To check coding of oncoming invoices, control of petty cash float, prepare cheque payment and prepare journal vouchers.
  • To enter data into computer system for debtors/creditors invoices, journal entries, petty cash, payment and receipts vouchers.
  • To perform monthly reconciliation of creditors/debtors account.
  • To monitor cash and bank book and perform reconciliation with bank statements.
  • To compile of audit and taxation schedules to external auditor once a year.
  • To monitor and update student records, invoices and payment collection.
  • To assist in preparation of necessary forms and documents company secretary.
  • Any other responsibilities delegated by the GCFO, whenever necessary.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance field.
  • Able to use account computerise system with basic computer skills.
  • Having complete knowledge and expertise with the field of work.
  • Good administrative capabilities along with standard communication skills.
