This is an excellent opportunity for those of you looking for plenty of autonomy, a home based contract in which you are totally in control of your diary and daily activity, essentially a role where you’re success is based on the quality of your work, not the hours that you work.

Our client is a highly impressive commercial insurance brokerage, who have achieved impressive growth year on year. They have a low staff turnover and a high client retention.

As a home based Account Executive, you will inherit a small portfolio of existing commercial clients, the rest of your role being primarily based on your ability to build your client portfolio within your designated geographical region.

You will be fully supported by an excellent team at HQ, with account handlers, DA underwriters, claims and some lead generation assistance. You will have access to all markets, composites, Lloyds, specialist insurers and with the opportunity to take advantage of exclusive DA schemes, with which, you will have “the pen” to make your own underwriting decisions.

Although initially salaried, and with an excellent benefits package which includes generous a car allowance, there is an opportunity to go “commission only” if you so wish, which will enable you to earn a significantly higher income based on the size of your client portfolio. As you develop with the business you will be building an equity stake in your client portfolio, which can be a lucrative “earn out” a little further down the line.

This role will suit experienced Account Executives looking to get away from the pressure of a standard role, keen to find an opportunity where you have a much greater control of your working patterns / hours of work etc.
