ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (FULL SET ACCOUNTING )

Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Chemor, Perak
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: RM3,000.00 – RM4,000.00 per month
Working Hours: Day shift / Early shift (as required)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions within our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position may also involve internal transfer within group companies based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Full Set Accounting
Oversee the complete set of accounts, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Financial Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).

Month-End Closing
Lead and execute the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

Taxation
Manage all aspects of taxation, including SST and corporate tax submissions, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation and assisting in tax planning strategies.

Cash Flow Management
Monitor daily cash flow and liquidity, prepare cash flow projections, and ensure optimal working capital management for smooth financial operations.

Internal Controls
Establish and enforce internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and enhance the reliability of financial information.

Audit Support
Coordinate and support external and internal audit processes by providing accurate financial data and documentation, and ensuring prompt resolution of audit queries.

Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning.

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all accounting functions adhere to applicable statutory requirements, financial regulations, and reporting obligations.

Team Supervision
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure consistent performance, knowledge development, and efficient departmental workflow.

Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective communication and relationships with auditors, tax consultants, government bodies, and other relevant external parties.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, including handling a full set of accounts.

Strong knowledge of MFRS, local tax laws, and financial regulations.

Proficient in accounting systems such as AutoCount, SQL, or similar software.

Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
