Job summary

A consultancy firm is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the construction industry, and be familiar with Malaysian accounting standards. The role requires independence, along with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. The position offers a salary range of MYR 3,500 - MYR 5,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL).
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Manage project billing, progress claims, and payment tracking.
  • Process supplier invoices and subcontractor payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Support audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters.
  • Maintain proper documentation for project costs and expenses.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders.

Skills

About This Role

Job Responsibilities
