Job Description

Prepare cash flow accounts, handle and monitor accounts payable and receivable, collections, bank reconciliation, and assist in other accounting-related tasks.

Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system.

Perform payment processing functions such as preparing banking transactions.

Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring compliance of records and systems with the Company’s policies.

Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports.

Liaise with bankers, auditors, and tax agents on audit and tax matters (if necessary).

Audit petty cash records, manage staff claims, record documentation, and maintain organized filing for data retrieval.

Assist in all day-to-day office administration, management, and operational matters.

Perform other ad hoc assignments as required.

Prepare monthly aging reports for Experian and CTOS and handle inquiries from them.

Advise management on financial strategies.

Monitor disbursement processes.

Monitor retention sum records and issue letters (forfeit/extend retention period) / update dealers.

Monitor e-stamping payments.

Oversee claim processes for Block Discounting Facilities on time.

Supervise official receipt processes (bank transactions and Jompay).

Summarize KPI results for team members monthly and ensure achievement.

Analyze and advise on the company's financial status to management.

Monitor risk management related to accounting operations.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or relevant professional qualification.

Computer literate with good knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing applications such as UBS, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1-2 years of relevant experience is advantageous.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Ability to multitask, stay motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to take on new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.

Good presentation and writing skills.

Analytical, detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and highly organized.

Able to start immediately or within a short notice period is an advantage.
