Job description

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about accounting? We’re looking for a highly skilled Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely entry of transactions into the ledger.
  • Guarantee that entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings to ensure smooth audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing records.

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and issue sales invoices, debit/credit notes, and official receipts.
  • Match customer payments to respective invoices for accuracy.
  • Generate and distribute monthly Statements of Accounts to customers.

Accounts Payable

  • Verify supplier invoices and staff claims to ensure completeness before processing payments.
  • Arrange timely payments to suppliers and ensure adherence to accounting procedures.
  • Review creditor aging reports and reconcile with creditor statements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
