Job summary

Sri Jutaya Sdn Bhd invites a diligent accounting professional to join our finance team in Malaysia. You will assist in the full set of accounts, prepare financial statements, and support month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, ensure timely SST submissions, and maintain orderly records. This role requires 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in audit firms or construction, and exposure to

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in Account/Audit Firm preferred.
• Experience in Construction Industry preferred.
• Exposure to SQL accounting systems preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in full set of accounts, preparing financial statements, month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets register, and intercompany transactions.

• Responsible in day-to-day financial operations.
• Responsible for timely SST submission and ensuring payments are made to the relevant authority within the deadline.
• To ensure timely preparation and submission of accounts breaking down with audit schedules.
• Proactive and ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
• Maintain proper record keeping and organized filing system.
• To undertake other duties being assigned or directed by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Possess education level of Diploma or Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• MUST have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Preferably have experiences in Account/Audit Firm.
• Preferably have experiences in Construction Industry.
• Preferable have exposure to SQL accounting system.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30a.m. to 5.00p.m.; Saturday 8.30a.m. to 1.00p.m.
• Full-time contract basis.v
