Job Responsibility
- Full-set accounting: Handle comprehensive accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Daily processing: Manage daily and monthly accounts processing, keeping financial records up-to-date.
- Financial documentation: Issue journals, update cash books, and perform various reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit accounting reports, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Financial management: Oversee bank reconciliations, invoices, receipts, and accounts receivable/payable processes.
- Petty cash oversight: Keep track of petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and management.
- Document organization: Sort and archive relevant vouchers and receipts for easy retrieval and auditing purposes.
- External liaison: Collaborate with external parties such as Company Secretary, Tax Agents, Bankers, and Auditors as needed.
- Team support: Assist with ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department, contributing to overall team success.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational background: Possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Mathematics, or Accounting.
- Experience: Have at least 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the steel industry.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Navision System, Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
- Industry knowledge: Experience in the steel industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
