Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Perform daily accounting data entry, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and MFRS.

Skills

Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
High level of accuracy

Education

Job description

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; internship experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MFRS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, experience with the AutoCount accounting system is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia
  • High level of accuracy, responsibility, and integrity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
  • Perform daily accounting data entry, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Handle invoice processing and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger records
  • Prepare and update accounting schedules and reports
  • Support month-end closing activities, audits and tax filing
  • Ensure all financial records comply with company policies and accounting standards (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards [MFRS])
  • Liaise effectively with external auditors, internal auditors, the company secretary, and regulatory authorities
  • Perform other ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
