About the role

LE TOOLS & MACHINERY SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented and driven Account Executive to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in managing the financial records and bookkeeping of our esteemed clients, ensuring their accounts are maintained to the highest standards. What you'll be doing

• Assist with full sets of accounts, month-end closings, including notes to accounts and all schedules.
• Execute accounting tasks, including invoice creation, review and management of AR and AP aging, reconciliation of intercompany balances, and bank statement reconciliation on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with auditors, respond to audit queries, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure audits are completed within deadlines.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and efficient manner.
• Generate financial reports and statements for clients, highlighting key insights and trends.
• Provide accounting and taxation support to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with the broader team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Assist in the implementation and smooth operation of e-invoicing platforms, ensuring accurate data upload and synchronization with tax authorities' platforms where applicable.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small to medium-sized practice.
• Strong proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., UBS Accounting, Microsoft Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients.
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, such as a diploma or degree, would be highly desirable.
