· Responsible for preparing a full set of statutory financial accounts in accordance with the accounting standards issued by the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board and approved by the Board of Directors of the company.
· Responsible for tax filing requirements, and tax computations of the company.
· Responsible for accounts’ reconciliations, analyse variances and advise on financial implications of business decisions.
· Apply and ensure compliance with accounting, financial, and risk management policies and controls.
· Liaise with both internal and external parties including auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, etc., for statutory and legislative requirements.
· Provide professional assistance in corporate exercises such as risk management, financial feasibility studies, and liaising with external stakeholders, along with other financial-related activities undertaken by the group.
· Responsible for the preparation of inactive subsidiary company accounts, including tax and audit schedules.
· Perform any other assignments or ad-hoc requests as directed by the superior.
