Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Executive to oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial reporting, budgeting, tax preparation, and auditing processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance.

The Account Executive will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget planning. Additionally, the candidate will ensure compliance with local tax laws, company policies, and industry regulations. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of financial principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to interpret financial data to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

Able to handle full set of account.

Maintaining proper set of accounting records, timely preparation of monthly management report.

Prepare and analyse cost of goods sold, inventory, and work-in-progress (WIP).

Support manufacturing cost analysis, variance analysis, and product cost tracking.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including SST, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Prepare bank reconciliation, journal voucher and related matters.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Liaise with bankers, tax agents, and auditor or regulatory matters.

Maintain strong relationships within organization.

Maintaining Proper Filling system for the department.

Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent. Professional qualification such as ACCA / CPA / CIMA is a plus.

Good working knowledge of SAP.

Strong understanding of full set of accounts, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial operations.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Strong attention detail, organize, self-motivate, be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is a strong plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
