Account Executive

Job Responsibilities

1. Process and record daily sales reports in the accounting system in a timely manner.
2. Perform daily data entry and bookkeeping tasks, including Accounts Payable invoices.
3. Assist in preparing monthly management account reports.
4. Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payment.
5. Follow up with customers via calls regarding collections.
6. Handle any other duties and tasks assigned by management.
7. Maintain accurate document filing and record-keeping.
8. Complete assigned ad hoc duties as required by superiors.
9. Ensure that tax processes and other financial activities comply with government regulations.
10. Ensure accurate financial closing and adherence to statutory requirements and accounting standards.
11. Communicate with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when necessary.
12. Prepare for year-end audits.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an LCCI certificate or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Junior candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting System is an advantage.
• Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Proficiency in administrative skills and Microsoft Office.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
• Good organizational skills and a fast learner.
• Strong reporting, administrative writing, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving, teamwork, discretion, and judgment skills.
