Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the full set of accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliations.
- Support day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly journals such as fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and interest expenses.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of local tax and statutory requirements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the trading industry.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
- Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in using financial reporting software (AutoCount) and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hands-on experience in financial system implementation and process improvement.
