Job summary

Classita (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading company in trading and manufacturing, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounts department. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, prepare financial statements, and assist with audits and tax computations. Candidates with at least a degree in accounting and 5 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in property development and construction is advantageous.
• Must be self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Accounts Department.
• Perform monthly closing of accounts and prepare management reports.
• Assist in yearly tax computation and liaise with auditors.

Job description

· Manage day-to-day operations of Accounts Department, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.

· Perform monthly closing of accounts and prepare management reports and financial statements.

· Prepare monthly cash flow forecast.

· Prepare and handle interim/year-end audits with Auditors.

· Assist in yearly tax computation and review estimated tax payable for submission to LHDN.

· Assist in liaising with bankers, auditors, and tax agents.

· Monitor daily in / outflow of collection and payment.

· Maintain, prepare & monitor receivable & payable aging reports as well as follow-up for payment.

· Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or Professional Degree.

· Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance.

· Familiar with SQL/ Accounting software/ERP an added advantage.

· Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word, Accounting Software.

· Able to converse in English, Malay and Chinese.

· Possess high degree of self-motivation, be result-oriented and able to work independently

· Experience in property development and construction will be an added advantage.
