Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, reporting, and assisting in overall account management. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Prepare and process payments, invoices, receipts, and claims.
  3. Perform bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date general ledgers.
  4. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
  5. Handle employee claims and perform expense analysis.
  6. Support in the preparation of tax filings (SST, CP204, etc.) and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).
  7. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into accounting systems (e.g., AutoCount).
  8. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  9. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government departments.
  10. Maintain proper documentation and filing of all accounting records.
  11. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  3. Proficient in AutoCount or other accounting software.
  4. Required language(s): Mandarin as most spoken dialect, English, Bahasa Malaysia, and other languages will be added advantage.
  5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
  6. Familiarity with Malaysian tax and statutory regulations.
  7. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  8. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  9. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
