Job summary

A leading company in Penang is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for month-end and year-end activities, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with auditors. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Knowledge of the Autocount system is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Autocount system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts and month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure cash movements are recorded and perform bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and coordinate with auditors.

Job description

Handle full sets of accounts and be responsible for performing month-end and year-end closing activities.

Ensure proper recording of cash movements against banks and perform bank reconciliation statements.

Arrange payment requests.

Prepare monthly financial reports.

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors from time to time.

Coordinate with auditors and tax agents as needed.
