Job description

1. Manage full-cycle of accounting, including AP/AR, Fixed Asset, General Ledger, Intercompany, Treasury and insurance function and reporting.

2. Oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly closing, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

3. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, insurers for compliance and financial queries.

4. Assist in various accounting matters, statutory reporting, cost analysis and financial forecasting.

5. To support Accounting manager on day-to-day finance & finance related functions of the company and ensure timely closing and reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Handle full set of account, prepare and pass all journal entries .

2. Update listing for all Balance Sheet items.

3. To check and review all the expenses incurred (balance sheet and profit and loss items) during month end closing, in order to ensure all expenses are timely captured before finalize GL section.

4. Prepare audit schedule, tax analysis, and handle witholding tax, indirect tax and custome duty.

5. Handle Treasury job function, including Cash flow management, actual vs forecast analysis, cash flow statement preparation.

6. Prepare all government, local statutory and group reporting.

7. Handle risk management, liaise with Bankers, insurers, auditors, customers.

8. Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

9. Working experience in the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.

10. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia with positive attitude.

11. Good command in Microsoft Excel office skill.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must be possessing at least Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

2. 5 - 10 years of working experience in the related field is required.

3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

4. Knowledge in Account Receivable, Tax, Import/Export duties, Indirect tax, witholding tax.

6. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and commitment.
