Job description

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Accounting Department, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Interco, Bank Reconciliation
• Ensure that all payments and invoices are prepared promptly and has been processed and approved following proper internal control procedures and SOPs
• Preparation of general ledger entries and ensuring all accounting records are properly updated in the accounting software with supporting documents
• Ensure timely monthly/yearly closing of accounts and generation of financial reports
• Assist in preparation of periodic management/statutory reports and schedules
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, financial policies and procedures
• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, fast learner and good attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with various stakeholders (eg: upper management, external accountant, corporate secretaries etc.)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Fresh graduated are welcome to apply
