Job description

Responsible for preparing full sets of accounts, including trial balance, bank reconciliation, balance sheet, statement of profit & loss, financial statements, and more.

Monitor the company's cash position daily.

Perform banking duties and manage related tasks.

Coordinate and perform monthly-end closing of management accounts.

Review and compile employee claims and expenses, and process reimbursements.

Verify bookkeeping and data entry in accounting software.

Process payments and handle documents such as invoices.

Ensure all accounting documents and records are properly filed and maintained.

Ensure all financial statements comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Perform reconciliations of accounts payable, receivable, bank, and inter-company balances.

Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers, company secretaries, government departments, and suppliers.

Manage bank facilities application and monitoring.

Participate in day-to-day accounting and treasury operations.

Perform administrative duties and provide support as needed.

Monitor the company's inventory and conduct monthly stock takes.

Assist with any ad-hoc assignments from management.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Good understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Good analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties.
