About the role

As an Account Executive at SIGI FOOD INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., you will play a vital role in the company's accounting operations. Based in Senai Johor, this full-time position involves managing a diverse range of bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities to support the overall financial health and compliance of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare financial statements, reports, and other documents accurately and promptly.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
4. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
3. Proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, and Autocount.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.
5. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
6. SPM or LCCI qualification.
