About the role
TECH PLUS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the smooth operations of our growing business.
What you'll be doing
Financial Record Keeping: Independently maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including payment and receiving voucher, quotations and invoices.
Account Reconciliation: Verifying and reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing invoices, recording payments, and managing the process of paying invoices and the collection of outstanding debts.
Payroll Processing: Calculating and processing employee salaries and wages, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Liaison with External Parties: Interacting with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other external parties on financial matters.
Month-End and Year-End Closing: Participating in the processes for closing out accounting periods, including reconciling accounts and preparing schedulesforaudits.
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance
2+ years of working experience in bookkeeping or foundational accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in using Accounting and Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, Outlook) software
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
A team player with a proactive and customer-centric approach
