Responsibilities include:
- Performing accounts reconciliation and advising on journal entries for ledger posting; preparing journal vouchers and draft accounts for monthly closing.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts with detailed analysis of expenditures for proper coding and accuracy.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly accounts, cash positions, and management reports in a timely manner; identifying discrepancies in Accounts Receivable & Payable.
- Monitoring and resolving outstanding balance sheet items such as accruals and miscellaneous receivables; analyzing financial information for ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements to provide timely information to management.
- Responding to buyer inquiries regarding statements of account during weekends, rest days, or leave, as needed.
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather and interpret financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Liaising with auditors and tax agents; preparing schedules for audits; evaluating financial processes for controls and data integrity.
- Performing any additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
