We are a well-established company in the hospitality sector, and we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Malaysians to join our team in the following position:
Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash flow and oversee financial transactions.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
Handle the full set of accounts and generate relevant financial reports.
Handle SST submission and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents during audits and statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Monitor budgets and assist in financial planning and reporting.
Manage petty cash, staff claims, and liaise with suppliers/vendors on payment matters.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum LCCI / Certificate / Diploma in Accountancy.
At least 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficient in handling a full set of accounts independently (experience with ACCESS UBS Accounting Software preferred).
Experience coordinating with external auditors and tax agents.
Strong understanding of SST regulations, tax and accounting compliance in Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Able to travel occasionally outside Kuala Lumpur.
Fluent in English and Mandarin.
Candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
