Qualifications

About the role

This is a full-time Account Executive role based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur at FLORENTINE SDN. BHD., a leading accounting and bookkeeping services provider. In this position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and financial support to small and medium-sized businesses.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management

Preparing monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other key financial reports

Assisting with audit and tax preparation and compliance, ensuring clients meet all relevant regulations and deadlines

Providing financial analysis and basic admin work

Collaborating with superior to understand their unique accounting needs and recommend tailored solutions

Maintaining strong relationships with clients and serving as their trusted financial partner

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and industry regulations

What we're looking for

Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or an experienced candidate

At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients

Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant technology

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
