A leading company in the Food & Beverage industry seeks a Finance Account Executive to manage financial transactions and reporting. This role includes overseeing full set accounting, accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating across teams. Candidates should have a solid foundation in accounting principles and be adept at financial analysis.
The Finance Account Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial transactions and reporting for the F&B company. This role requires a thorough understanding of full set accounting, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full Set Accounting:
- Maintain and manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger accounts, and inter-company accounts.
2. Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process supplier invoices, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Manage payment cycles and schedules, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate customer invoices and manage the billing process.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Process and record customer payments, including checks, credit card transactions, and electronic payments.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
5. Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and procurement, to support business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial information.
