About the role

This is a full-time Account Executive position at Primiertel Sdn Bhd based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services to the company's clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Preparing and filing tax returns, financial statements, and other regulatory reports in a timely manner
  • Providing financial analysis and advice to clients to help them make informed business decisions
  • Communicating with clients regularly to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the accounting department

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small practice or SME environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A relevant degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) would be an advantage
