About the role

ALBE ADVANCE SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounting and bookkeeping functions, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger

Reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Providing support to the accounting and finance team as needed

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Participating in the implementation of financial systems and processes

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small practice or SME environment

Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and best practices

Proficient in using accounting software, such as UBS ACCOUNTING

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications, such as LCCI or Degree in accounting
