Account Executive — Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare a full set of accounts (GL, Inventory, Bank Reconciliation). Prepare month-end closing and daily accounting functions.
  • Resolve all accounting-related operational issues and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies, and SOP.
  • Maintain accurate accounting entries into accounting systems, filing, and other clerical duties as assigned.
  • To assist in all spectrum of accounting functions, budget, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Liaise with Financial Institutions, internal and external auditors, tax agents, and other statutory bodies on accounting and financial related matters.
Job Requirements
  • Qualification Required: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Certificates.
  • Industrial Background Preferred: Min 2 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance with trading activities.
  • Good accounting and tax knowledge.
  • Experience in the trading business is an added advantage.
  • Group-level work experience and preference with regional exposure.
  • Willingness to be stationed at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah office.
  • Good communication and ability to work in a team.
