Job summary

PERKHIDMATAN MEKAR RIA PLT is seeking an accounting professional in Malaysia to manage the full set of accounts and monthly closings within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting and compliance with local standards.

You will prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and cash book entries using Bukku, Excel, and Word, while liaising with bankers and auditors. A balanced mix of independent work and teamwork is required to meet deadlines and support audits.

Qualifications

• Proficient in full set accounting practices and reporting.
• Ability to prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Bukku and Microsoft Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance.
• Manage daily cash book transactions and ensure accurate recording.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and other external parties.
• Handle intercompany billings and stocks, including preparation of sales invoices.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Handle and manage collection wholesale payments.

Manage daily cash book transactions and ensure accurate recording

Job Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience

Strong knowledge of full set accounting

Familiar with accounting standards and financial reporting

Proficient in accounting software Bukku, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work in a team, independently and meet deadlines
