About the role

MTD Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Taman Desa Cemerlang Johor. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing the company's bookkeeping and small practice accounting needs.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
• Preparing and filing tax returns and other financial reports
• Providing financial advice and support to the management team
• Assisting with budget planning and forecasting
• Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
• Supervising and training junior accounting staff

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
