About the Role

We are seeking a talented Account Executive to join our growing Wisdom and Wit Consultancy Pte Ltd team in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services to our diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression within our dynamic organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payroll processing

Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports, tax returns, and other regulatory documents on behalf of clients

Liaising with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored accounting solutions

Analysing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and offer strategic recommendations to clients

Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance

Collaborating with the broader team to contribute to the overall success of the consultancy

What We're Looking For

Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a consultancy or small-medium sized practice

Strong proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients

A proactive and problem-solving mindset to identify and address client needs

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting regulations and tax compliance requirements
