Job description

We are looking for an Account Executive with experience in full-set accounting to support our diverse business operations across construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting compliance across multiple business sectors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a full set of accounts for companies involved in construction

Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, financial statements, and statutory reports

Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records for audit and compliance

Manage and monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries

Perform bank reconciliations, online payments, direct debits, and petty cash transactions

Assist in tax/audit matters with external consultants

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction sectors

Strong knowledge of full set accounts and project accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL, or similar) is an added advantage

Excellent communication skills in English and Malay

Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality

Able to work independently with good time management and multitasking skills

A team player with a strong work ethic and initiative
