A leading manufacturing company in Johor is seeking an Accounts Executive. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing monthly management reports. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role and be proficient in UBS accounting software as well as Microsoft Office applications.
1. Monitor and control in-flow and out-flow funds; verify all supporting documents before online and cheque payment approval.
2. Prepare reconciliation for all balance sheet items and control accounts.
3. Monitor bank balance, cash flow position to ensure sufficient funds to meet payment deadlines.
4. Accountable to handle full set accounts, month end closing and monthly management report.
5. Ensure timely and accurate completion of companies' accounts with compliance to governing standards and regulations.
6. Prepare monthly management reports and posses the ability to analyse financial data.
7. Ensure completeness of documents in accordance with internal guidelines and policy for audit purposes.
8. Responsible to prepare payment voucher, debit note. credit note and journal for immediate superior / Manager to verify.
9. Monitor and maintain adequate cash flow and ensure cash book is updated.
10. Liaise with company secretary, auditor, tax agent, bankers, suppliers authorities on all finance related matters.
11. Maintain good rapport with bankers, auditors, tax agent, company secretary, suppliers and etc.
12. Prepare report as required by Manager.
13. To undertake and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by immediate superior.
14. Familiar with UBS system.
15. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
16. High level of integrity, initiative and result oriented.
17. Willing to commit to complete job & task given.
18. Candidate will act as a Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Accounts Executive for this job position.
19. At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
