Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent from recognized Universities.
  • Preferably 2-3 years post-qualifying experience.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Preparation and finalization of subsidiaries’ annual financial statement.
  • Statutory financial reporting compliance and liaise with external auditor.
  • Handling and supervising day to day accounting and financial operation.

Job description

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and finalization of subsidiaries’ annual financial statement; monthly and quarterly management accounts; monthly cash flow forecast and annual estimate.
  • Statutory financial reporting compliance and liaise with external auditor and lead the audit process.
  • Handling and supervising day to day accounting and financial operation.
  • Perform budget analysis and costing report for management reporting of operations.
  • Prepare full set of accounts and any other related accounts as assigned from time to time.
  • Monthly review of financial statements of Operating Centres for compliance to accounting standards and Group policies.
  • Perform year end finalization of financial statement of Operating Centres.
  • Provide guidance and training to Operating Centres on accounting matters.
  • Quarterly and annual reconciliation of ledgers.
  • Attend to queries and information requested by auditors.
  • Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets.
  • Perform analysis as requested by management from time to time.
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent from recognized Universities.
  • Preferably 2-3 years post-qualifying experience with a professional accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Word).
  • Fast learner, independent and self-motivated.
  • Possess good communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff in the organization and a good team player.
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Must be willing to be based in Ipoh.
