Job Summary:
  • Availability to work on the following days and shifts:
    • Monday to Friday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Required experience: 2-3 years in a relevant role
  • Expected salary: RM5,500 - RM9,000 per month
Position Details:

Job Title: Senior Account Executive | SPJ

Company Background: Construction (Public Infrastructure, Highway, Bridge, etc.)

Salary Range: RM5,500 – RM9,000

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 9 am – 6 pm

Location: Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur

Job Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Accurate entry of financial data into accounting software and Excel databases.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing POs, invoices, bills, and receipts; managing payments and collections; reconciling bank statements and financial records; managing invoices from suppliers and contractors.
  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements; analyzing financial data for internal and external reporting.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining organized financial records and documentation; liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government agencies.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitoring and recording expenses; preparing expense reports and reimbursement requests.
  • Budget Assistance: Assisting in budget preparation and monitoring; tracking variances and financial performance.
  • Compliance and Procedures: Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and accounting standards; maintaining internal controls.
  • Communication: Interacting with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial issues; providing customer service for financial inquiries.
  • Administrative Support: Supporting the accounting team and assisting with documentation submissions and special projects.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to handle full-set accounts
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage
