About the role

Join the dynamic team at Crestern Property Sdn Bhd as an Account Executive. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This full-time position is based in Alor Setar, Kedah, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading property development firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective accounting procedures
  • Assist clients with legal and financial documentation related to property transactions
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the property or real estate industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of real estate laws, procedures, and market trends.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
