A leading healthcare provider in Malaysia is seeking an Account Assistant, open to fresh graduates. The role involves overseeing accounts payable functions, processing invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates are highly committed, possess good English writing skills, and can work independently within deadlines.

Undertake all aspects of the Accounts Payable (AP) recognition function.
Review and process supplier invoices to ensure all supporting documents, such as Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), etc., are attached according to the company’s policies and procedures.
Key in/match invoices into the accounting system – Accounts Payable (AP) module.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of accounts payable invoices.
Clear all scanned invoices from the hospital within 3 working days.
Respond to queries on a daily basis.
Match and validate invoices against the correct purchase orders to minimize errors.
Review invoices and ensure all supporting documents are attached per company policy.
Key in/match non-PO invoices (utilities, laboratory) in the Sun System by business unit.
Key in/match non-PO/non-invoice items (purchase requests without invoices, training, etc.) in Sun System (ledger import) by business unit.
Prepare and process accounts payable payments.
Prepare online banking or manual cheques and record in the cash book daily.
Liaise with subsidiaries.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Carry out any other related tasks as directed from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least an SPM/'O' Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Diploma Certificate, Professional Certificate, or equivalent.
Open to Fresh Graduates.
Highly committed and able to work independently within tight deadlines.
Good in English writing.
